    Calipso Island is the second album of the Italian guitarist Fabrizio Prando. It is available on all main streaming and download platforms from April 22. It’s a continuation of a journey begun with Wind Rose album, at the end 2019.

    The album features a series of genres like jazz/latin/flamenco/mediterranean/pop, which will define a unique sensation, recreating amazing Mediterranean and Latin American atmospheres.

    "The sea is rough, the waves rise above the vessels, the wind blows restlessly! The journey that has brought us to mysterious islands is now leading us to a very special island “Calipso Island”.
    A fairy and Mediterranean landscape, with natural gardens, sacred woods with tall trees, magic springs and magnificent figures that dance unknown movements.
    Until Calipso wants us to stay, we’re trapped on the island, fascinated by her beauty.
    A Sky Ship, pulled by the wind Zefiro, flies above our heads, taking us to timeless places where a Clepsydra marks the rhythm of the day as she wishes. We are travelling in time, to ancient medieval castles where we can hear medieval waltz.
    Underland, in an enigmatic place, creatures of various kinds are sitting at an old bar, playing cards, and smoking big cigars; a small orchestra of skeletons plays a swing, while noble vampires are ordering weird liquids to drink.
    Along the rivers, old pirates are playing the Mediterranean Tango, stuck on the island, they’re remembering the sea adventures.
    And those oneiric worlds and the far-away lands will one day break the enchantment to let us continue the journey to the horizon, to explore new islands and infinite universes."
